Kaplan House Mixing Top-Notch Care With A Homelike Environment

Simply put, the recently opened Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers,
MA, kicked off a new era in end-of-life care in Massachusetts. While
there are six other hospice houses in the Bay State, each of these
facilities only provide the routine level of hospice care typically
delivered in a patient’s own home.

never want to hear a worker say, ‘That’s not my job,’” said DuBois, who
is the administrator for Market Square Health Care Center in South
Paris, ME. “One employee should be willing to help out another,
regardless of their job description or the department they work in.
It’s important to foster that culture of teamwork.”
