Spring Blooms in Ellsworth

The 19th Annual Camden National Chefs' Gala plans are in full swing with tremendous support for this important fundraiser for Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Breast Clinic and mammogram scholarships. The Chefs Gala is coming to Ellsworth on April 7th and will feature fine cuisine by local chefs and dancing to The Tony Boffa Band.

Ellsworth, ME -  Excitement is in full bloom at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital (MCMH) as local chefs and volunteers prepare for the 19th Annual Chefs’ Gala sponsored by Camden National Bank.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 7th at the Ellsworth Ramada.

Darlings Auto Mall and Darlings Chevrolet have stepped forward to sponsor the popular Tony Boffa Band for the guests’ dancing delight. Chip Butterwick is organizing the food pavilions with chefs from the famous Crocker House Raw Bar, Nostrano, Chow Maine, Big Cat Catering, Finn’s Irish Pub, Hancock County Culinary Arts students, Yummy Perfection and Morton’s Moo.   They will all be serving  dishes to tantalize the taste buds.   Ray Builders and EBS have teamed up again this year to provide the chefs with a kitchen.

Guests will step into spring with decorations provided by Atlantic Landscape and flowers  gifted  from Witham Family Properties.  A glass of champagne will await each guest compliments of Hancock Dental.   This year’s Gala will include a silent auction, featuring “His and Hers” Schwinn bicycles, diamond ear-rings and other exciting items.

This not  to be missed fundraiser for Maine Coast Memorial Hospital Breast Clinic will be hosted by Chris Facchini and Audry Amann  of WLBZ2.  The Lions Club will provide valet parking and the Medical Imaging Department of MCMH will provide coat check.  Remembrance photos of this spring evening will be done by Tom Starno of Starnotes and Steve Vachon of New England School of Communication.
