MDS COORDINATOR – RN

* Must be graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and possess an active and current license to practice as an RN and have a minimum of two years experience in a Long Term Care position.
* Must have current knowledge of state, federal and OBRA regulations and Minimum Data Set and possess strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
* Have current knowledge of Medicare PPS and Medicaid CMI reimbursement systems and strong working knowledge of RAI manual as well as the Quality Indicator process.
* Knowledge of Case-Mix and the care plan process.
* Knowledge of Microsoft windows based applications and use of the internet.
* Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills are required.
* Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family and gov’t agencies
* Ability to maintain focus on excellent resident centered care.
* Successful candidate will also participate in weekend on-call rotation.
* Training is available for appropriately qualified candidate.
