M. Khurram Faizan, MD, Hired As New Physician At Hasbro Children’s Hospital

Providence, RI — M. Khurram Faizan, MD, joined the staff at Hasbro
Children's Hospital. A pediatric nephrologist, he specializes in the
diagnosis and treatment of children with kidney and urinary diseases.
He is also a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Brown
Medical School.

Faizan earned bachelors degrees in medicine and surgery from Aga Khan
University in Karachi, Pakistan and is certified by the Educational
Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. Faizan completed his clinical
fellowship in pediatric nephrology at the University of Washington and
the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center in Seattle, where
he received the National Kidney Foundation and American Society of
Transplantation fellowship research award. He completed his pediatric
residency at Penn State University at Hershey, PA, and the Milton S.
Hershey Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident.

Certified in pediatric nephrology by the American Board of Pediatrics,
of which he is a fellow, Faizan is a member of the Renal Physician
Association and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association.
