Spending the summer at a local hospital, volunteering for 12 to 15 hours a week is not the way high school students typically spend their vacation. But down in Plymouth, MA, many teenagers are doing just that.
The students are participating in the Summer at Jordan Program, which gives 25 students from area schools a chance to learn about health care careers and fulfill community service hours or projects that many schools require for graduation. The program is run by Jordan Hospital in Plymouth, MA.
